Iranian Smoking Woman part 1

Elaheh is a woman from Iran, and she tells us her story about how she was smoking more than a pack per day before being 15 years old in a country where women are not allowed to smoke.

She started to smoke at the tender age of 9, when she got a pack of cigarettes from some foreigners promoting tobacco products: ‘…they were delivering free packs of cigarettes to the people, children incluided, and that’s how I got my first pack…”… I spent my teenage years collecting cigarette butts off the streets, I stored a bunch of butts in my pocket and then I hid on a safe place to smoke later’.

Nowadays Elaheh is 25 years old and she smokes over 40 cigarettes per day. She talks along the video with her raspy smoker’s voice: “When I smoke, I feel the harm is doing to my lungs… I let the smoke penetrate my body to do its job inside… is a slow process that makes me die of pleasure…”,  “… every morning I smoke 2 or 3 cigarettes before I go out of bed”

Her smoking tricks come naturally along the 4 cigarettes that she smokes on this video: huge snaps, rings and open mouth inhales, nose exhales, and talking while exhaling residual smoke.
